What is collected

When you send an enquiry

The booking form collects your name, your email address, your company name, the event date, the event location, the event type, your estimated talent budget, and any event details you choose to add. Company name and event details are optional. The rest is needed in order to answer your enquiry.

When you browse

Technical information is collected automatically: the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and how you interact with pages, including mouse movement, clicks and scrolling.

Nothing else is collected. There is no mailing list on this site, and your email address is not used for marketing.

How your enquiry is handled

The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third party form service, which forwards your submission to Ross by email. It is then held in his email account.

Enquiries are read by Ross only. They are not passed to booking agencies, venues, event partners, or anyone else. If you first came across Ross’ work through an agency, please contact that agency directly rather than using this form.

Enquiry emails are kept indefinitely. There is no automatic deletion schedule. You can ask for yours to be deleted at any time, using the contact details below.

Cookies and analytics

Two analytics tools run on this site, and both set cookies in your browser.

Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used: pages viewed, and actions such as starting or submitting the enquiry form, playing the showreel, or following a link away from the site. It sets cookies named _ga and_ga_Z9CPN9YF4W.

Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move through pages and can replay a visit as a session recording, and builds heatmaps of clicks and scrolling. It sets cookies named _clck and _clsk, and stores a value named_cltk for the duration of your visit. The enquiry form is marked so that the text you type into it is masked and is not captured in these recordings.

The showreel is a click to load embed. Nothing is requested from YouTube, and no YouTube cookies are set, until you press play. If you do, that request is served by youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube’s own privacy terms apply to it.

Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third party font service, so simply reading a page does not disclose anything to a font provider.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google publishes a Google Analytics opt out browser add on. Blocking any of this does not affect your ability to use the site or to send an enquiry.

Where your information goes

This website is hosted by Vercel and served from its Sydney edge region. Vercel is a United States company, and information may be stored or processed overseas.

FormSubmit, Google and Microsoft are also based overseas and may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Sending an enquiry or browsing this site involves disclosing information to those providers on that basis.

Security

Reasonable steps are taken to protect the information collected here. The site is served only over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. No payment details are collected through this website at any point.

Sensitive information

Sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act, such as health information or details of racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or religious beliefs, is never sought through this website. Please do not include any in the event details field.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, or ask for it to be deleted. Email ross.wallman@icloud.com. Requests are answered within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe your personal information has been mishandled, email ross.wallman@icloud.com in the first instance, setting out what happened. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
